Project

COMMO is a project funded by the European Commission – Erasmus + KA1 International Credit Mobility Program- that sets up a consortium consisting of several Italian universities and coordinated by UNIMED.

Since 2015, some Universities from the Mediterranean region, namely Albania, Montenegro and Tunisia have benefited and benefit from the activities of the consortium.

These mobilities target both students and the administrative and academic staff. The project has supported in increasing the capacity and skills of all the partners in international cooperation and management fields. Indeed, the involved Universities benefit from the transfer of new knowledge and they enriched their cultural baggage thanks to the new experiences of exchange and mobility (both incoming and outgoing).

The exchange of students and international staff led the faculties and departments of the host Universities to adapt and improve their own reception procedures. The consortium will continue to benefit from the experience of international programs and strengthen the possibility of creating new international activities with the same members of the consortium.

The project also fostered the development of international and institutional networking. Finally, the university departments of the host and sending universities – working very closely – have launched new possibilities for future and long-term collaborations.
