The COMMO VI project, financed by the Italian National Agency INDIRE under the KA107 International Credit Mobility, is officially concluded.
Despite some initial difficulties related to the project implementation due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic to physical mobility, COMMO VI enabled 24 students and university staff members to live an invaluable experience of mobility exchange!
The project involved the Italian universities of the COMMO consortium and the following Albanian partner universities of the UNIMED network: Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës; European University of Tirana and the following Albanian universities which are not UNIMED members: University Aleksander Xhuvani Elbasan; University of Tirana; Polytechnic University of Tirana; University Fan S. Noli Korce; University “Eqrem Çabej” I Gjirokastrës; University of Arts of Tirana; University Shkodres Luigj Gurakuqi; University of Vlores.
The mobility exchanges carried out led the universities to strengthen their international dimension and to lay the foundation for further cooperation in projects and initiatives of common interest.
Moreover, the students and university staff members involved had the chance to appreciate the value of other cultures and improve their personal and professional skills.
Being aware of the importance and the impact of mobility not only on the participants but also at the societal level, UNIMED is committed to involve an increasing number of universities in mobility exchanges in the coming years.
