Within the framework of the COMMO VII Project (funded by the Erasmus+ ICM Program), the Department of Biomedicine, Neurosciences and Advanced Diagnostics (Bi.N.D.) of the University of Palermo hosted Professor Shereen Mahmoud Kamel Abd El Aziz, an expert in Clinical Pathology from Cairo University.
During her mobility, Prof. Abd El Aziz delivered seminars for the Postgraduate School of Clinical Pathology and visited several laboratories, engaging in fruitful exchanges with faculty and researchers on multiple scientific topics (such as diagnostic biomarkers, cancer biology, immune responses, and aging).
In line with the goals of the COMMO project, this visit represented an important opportunity to strengthen international academic collaborations, promote the exchange of expertise and contribute to the professional and scientific growth of the institutions and participants involved.
